Steak Kabobs with Peppers & Rubies Sweet Red Onions

These classic steak, sweet red onion, and bell pepper kabobs are easy to prepare and delicious to eat. Using Italian dressing to marinate makes prep and clean-up a breeze! Substitute with chicken or pork for different variations. Photography by Jodi Danen of Create Kids Club

  • 1 lb of boneless beef top sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch thick pieces
  • 1 medium red or yellow bell pepper, cut into pieces
  • 1 medium green bell pepper, cut into pieces
  • 1 medium RealSweet® Rubies® sweet red onion, cut into pieces
  • ½ cup of Italian dressing
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  1. Combine steak, bell peppers and sweet red onion in large bowl.
  2. Drizzle all but 2 Tbsp of the dressing over the ingredients and toss to coat.
  3. Alternate beef & vegetable pieces, sliding them onto 8 metal skewers.
  4. Over medium-high heat, grill kabobs 10 to 12 minutes, turning occasionally.
  5. Add salt & pepper to taste. Drizzle kabobs with remaining 2 Tbsp dressing and serve.
