Grilled Steak Salad with Vidalia Onions

Get the best of both worlds when you combine grilled sirloin with the fresh flavors of a summer salad featuring Vidalia onions.

  • 4 ½-inch slices of sweet onions
  • 1 lb boneless lean sirloin of thinly sliced beef
  • 1 (12 oz) DOLE® salad mix
  • 1 cup of NatureSweet® Cherubs® Tomatoes
  • Marzetti® Simply Dressed® Blue cheese dressing, amount as desired
  • salt and pepper
  1. Season steaks with salt and pepper.
  2. Grill or broil steak to desired doneness.
  3. Let the steak rest for five minutes, then thinly slice it across the grain.
  4. Grill onions until lightly charred, about 2 minutes per side, and separate into rings.
  5. Combine salad, steak, onions and tomatoes in a large bowl.
  6. Add Blue Cheese dressing and toss to coat.
