Grilled Chicken, Tomato and Vidalia® Salad

This salad will steal the show this summer! With the unbeatable flavors of grilled chicken, bacon, avocado, and of course our Vidalia sweet onions, you'll be coming back for more.

Ingredients
  • 1 lb. Boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
  • 1 Package (6 oz.) Spring salad mix
  • 1 Medium RealSweet® Vidalia® sweet onion, sliced
  • ½ c. Grape tomatoes
  • 1 Avocado, peeled and cubed
  • 2 Slices cooked bacon, crumbled
  • ¼ c. Blue cheese crumbles
  • Blue Cheese dressing, amount as desired
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
  1. Heat grill to medium-high heat.
  2. Brush chicken with oil and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Grill 8 to 12 minutes or until no longer pink in the center, turning once.
  4. Cool chicken enough to handle, then slice into thin strips.
  5. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients and toss with blue cheese dressing, amount as desired.
