Sausage Kabobs with Peppers and Sweet Onions

A new way to pair up the trinity of summer grilling goodness! Meat, peppers, and onions come together for delicious meal-in-one kabobs. Put your own spin on this dish by customizing your ingredients!

Ingredients
  • 2 large sweet onions, sliced
  • 1 medium red or yellow bell pepper, cut into pieces
  • 1 medium green bell pepper, cut into pieces
  • 1 medium sweet onion, cut into thick pieces
  • 2 lbs sausage, thickly sliced
  • 1 cup mushrooms
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • salt & pepper, to taste
Instructions
  1. Preheat your grill to medium high heat, about 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix together oil and seasonings.
  3. Brush onions, peppers and mushrooms with flavored oil mixture.
  4. Skewer ingredients up on metal or pre-soaked wooden skewers, alternating vegetables and sausage.
  5. Place skewers on the grill and cook for roughly 5 minutes on one side and then flip them over and cook for another 5 minutes or until sausage is cooked through.
