RealSweet® Vidalia®, Pepper and Sausage Kabobs

A new way to pair up the trinity of summer grilling goodness!

Ingredients
  • 2 Large RealSweet® Vidalia® onions, sliced
  • 1 Medium red or yellow bell pepper, cut into pieces
  • 1 Medium green bell pepper, cut into pieces
  • 1 Medium RealSweet® red onion, cut into pieces
  • 2 lbs. Sausage, thickly sliced
  • 1 c. Mushrooms
  • ¼ c. Olive oil
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
Instructions
  1. Preheat your grill to medium high heat, about 375° F.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together oil and seasonings.
  3. Brush onions, peppers and mushrooms with flavored oil mixture.
  4. Skewer ingredients up on metal or pre-soaked wooden skewers, alternating vegetables and sausage.
  5. Place skewers on the grill and cook for roughly 5 minutes on one side and then flip them over and cook for another 5 minutes or until sausage is cooked through.
