Easy Three-Cheese Fondue with Vidalia Onions

Simple, tasty and sweet, this fondue will tantalize your taste buds. A fun appetizer for summer cookouts and cocktail parties alike! This recipe pairs perfectly with fresh vegetables, bread, and other foods to make the perfect starter for your events.

  • ¼ cup Vidalia onion, finely chopped
  • 1 Tbsp butter
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 Tbsp all-purpose flour
  • ¾ cup milk
  • 2 cups (8 oz) sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 8 oz cream cheese, cut into cubes
  • ½ cup blue cheese crumbles
  • ¼ tsp ground red pepper
  • ½ tsp hot pepper sauce
  • bread for dipping
  1. Combine all ingredients in a slow cooker.
  2. Cover and cook on low for 2 to 2½ hours, stirring only once or twice, until cheese is melted and smooth.
  3. Increase heat to high and cook 1 to 1½ hours until heated through.
  4. Serve with bread.
